Born in New York City, design and renovation have always been a part of my life. My father was a flooring contractor providing expert, custom installations of floors for premier designers and a celebrity clientele.

A long detour through academia and a private social work practice preceded my entrance into the design world. My fascination with interior space evolved first into a real estate business and, finally, into RG-Designs. It was like coming home.

Although my work experiences have been varied, there is a thread that connects them all--it is an abiding interest in home and hearth and the elements (psychological, spatial, aesthetic) that go to into the creation of a harmonious place.

It is this interest that continues to drive my work.
